Rock On!! is a critical and commercial success and now many people are expecting a sequel of this fabulous movie but neither Abhishek Kapoor nor Farhan Akhtar are showing any interest in making Rock On!! sequel. Few days ago, I wrote about Abhishek Kapoor being asked about Rock On!! sequel and he replied that he was not thinking about it at the moment. Same answer came from director turned actor, Farhan Akhtar. He feels that he has enough. He does not want to continue it. Farhan said:

“The director Abhishek Kapoor should know about the sequel. As for me, I’m not for it. I feel Rock On is a sequel to my own Dil Chahta Hai. Both transported me to the same emotional space. So I’ve had enough of it. I think Abhishek has a lot more to do as a filmmaker than a sequel.”

The way Rang De Basanti influenced Indian youth, Rock On!! had the same influence on Indi-rock. Because of Rock On!!, Indi-rock revived again. Regional bands are getting lots of exposure in the media and people are showing lots of interest in band music and rock music. This makes Farhan Akhtar very happy. He said that Rock On!! had created something which even they could not control. After the release of the movie, where ever Farhan Akhtar and other actors gave live performance, they received great response from the audience. For now, Farhan Akhtar is just basking under the success of Rock On!!

Though she has only three movies to her credit, actress Hansika Motwani has been very successful in catching the audience's attention for her good looks and acting skill. Looking at her on the screen, nobody can tell that this actress is only seventeen years old. At such a young age, she has shown great sense of maturity. Interestingly, in her first big hit, Aap Kaa Surroor – The Real Luv Story, she was paired up against Himesh Reshammiya, who is more than double her age. In her latest movie, Money Hai Toh Honey Hai, she appeared with none other than forty plus year old Govinda.

Even when Govinda came to know that a seventeen year old actress will be paired up with him, he was very confused. When he told director Ganesh Acharya about his apprehension, Acharya told him that when Hansika had no problems working with him why he was hesitating. Surprisingly, Govinda-Hansika pair up looked great on screen because of their 'contrasting personalities.'

While talking about acting with old actors, Hansika Motwani said that she has no problems about it because when a person is acting, it is the character that matters most. Age is not a big factor to Hansika. She said, when an actor is told to play the character of seventy year old, he/she has to play it no matter what.

Starting as a child artist, Hansika Motwani became quite popular for her performance in various TV serials and movies. In Jaago, Hansika Motwani played the character of twelve year old girl who was raped. The movie received critical appraise. As an adult actress, Hansika Motwani made her debut last year, appearing in a Telugu movie, Deshamuduru. She then worked with Himesh Reshammiya in Aap Kaa Surroor – The Real Luv Story, which became the surprise hit of 2007. She is going to appear in the sequel of Aap Ka Surroor.

On Monday, Delhi girl Ekta Chaudhary,  failed to make it to the top 15 finalists of the Miss Universe 2009 contest, smashing all hopes of getting the crown back to India.

The Miss Universe 2009 title was won by Stefania Fernandez  (Estefania Fernandez) of Venezuela as she become 58th winner of the title.

The top 15 finalists who were competing for the Miss Universe crown were from Albania, Australia, Belgium, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, France, Iceland, Kosovo, Puerto Rico, Sweden, Switzerland, South Africa, the US and Venezuela.

These finalists were chosen from among 83 contestants who strutted in cocktail dresses and then came back in swim suits.

The winner was crowned by the current Miss Universe – Dayana Mendoza of Venezuela.

Abhishek Bachchan is playing the male lead in the movie. Amitabh Bachchan is going to play the role of Abhishek Bachchan's grand father and Waheeda Rahman will play the character of grandmother. While talking about Abhishek Bachchan Sonam Kapoor said that Abhishek Bachchan is some one whom she could look up to.

Sonam Kapoor rejected the offer from a very big film production house because she did not feel that she would be comfortable doing the character. For her role, she will have to wear revealing clothes and there is also a bed scene.

Both her directors, Rakeysh and Sanjay, have been very protective about Sonam Kapoor. Sanjay Leela Bhansali would cover her up all the time. Rakeysh always wants her to be in salwar-kameez.

Recently, Sonam Kapoor lost her grand father. She felt sad that she could not see him before his death.
