Kerala Municipal Corporation Panchayat Election 2010 –Vote counting is in progress today. News channels are telecasting live on Kerala Panchayat Election 2010. Collectorsat booth has been provided adequate security by Kerala election commission in both inside and outside of the centers during the counting.

Election took place on October 23 and 25, 2010 for Kerala Municipal Corporation Panchayat for 2010. Live counting can be seen on Indiavision TV Online and Asianet Channel.

There are 216 counting centres are appointed for vote counting. Counting of votes was started at 8 am in the morning. In Kozhikode district the election results will be announced on 31st October.

1.23 crore voters will cast votes will decide the fate of 41,015 candidates struggling for 12,374 positions in 698 local self-government bodies.
