Bihar Election Results 2010 LIVE Posted: 24 Nov 2010 04:20 AM PST Bihar Assembly Election results 2010 have to be declared today at 2 PM and the votes counting for all the 243 constituencies have taken today on 24th November'2010. The major competition is between JDU and RJD in which results will decide whether Lalu Prasad Yadav and Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) partner Ram Vilas Paswan can remain in state and national politics. As per the current status JDU-BJP alliance in Bihar is heading for a total victory for the second term. It is sure that the results are a major defeat to RJD-LJP alliance and the Congress. BJP Minister Renu Devi defeated Congress nominee Madan Mohan Tiwari by about 15,000 votes in Bettiah constituency. The Chief Minister of Bihar Mr. Nitish Kumar and RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav were among well-known political leaders who did not take participation the Assembly elections.
