Pandharpur yatra concluding today as Ashadhi Ekadasi on 21st July

Pandharpur yatra is annual trekking on 21 days in Maharashtra. Pandharpur yatra is celebrated every year for the Palki Yatra of great saint Tuka Ram Ji Maharaj of Maharashtra.   Every year the Pandharpur yatra is culminate on the Ashadhi Ekadasi.

Pandharpur which is situated in Maharashtra near the Sholapur city in the district of Soalapur. Pandharpur temple belongs to Lord Vitthala which is derived from the Kannada  meaning word of Vishnu.

Today being the Ashadhi Ekadasi the devotee from all over Maharashtra are visiting to the Pandharpur temple for their Pandharpur temple Yatra 2010. Pandharpur  is also known as the Kashi of Sothern India as Kashi /Varanasi is considered as the holiest city of India.

Maharashtrian people have great faith in the Lord Vitthala and Pandharpur pilgrimage. Today it seems that all roads of Maharashtra leads to Pandharpur temple.

TN PSC to induct village administrative officers

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has decided to induct 1576 village administrative officers and 1077 village administrative officers for the  category of schedule caste and schedule tribe categories. TN PSC will conduct the examination of VAO 2010  for the recruitment of the village administrative officers.

TN PSC has imposed many regulation for the candidates who wants to be the village administrative officers. TN PSC has announced that the selected candidates would need to deposit the sum of Rs. 2000/- in advance of joining as the village administrative officers.

VAO would require to stay in the posted village as long as TN PSC has recruited and Tamil Nadu government has posted in the designated village. Last date for the candidates applying is 20th August 2010 according to TN PSC.
