Lamha Story:
The film is a story about an army officer, played by Sanjay Dutt, who has to investigate the secret going-ons and unveil a sinister plot that threatens to derail the ongoing elections in the troubled state which has been grappling with terror and violence for the past three decades and his love interest, played by Bipasha Basu, in the midst of the various issues that Kashmir had faced over the years. It also features Anupam Kher and Kunal Kapoor in supporting roles.

Lamhaa Movie Review:

The Movie is about the region in Kashmir where many parties from all around there to attain their own profit from a burning house. The place has turned into Politics place for Delhi as well as Islamabad and for the Military organizations too. The movie tells all about what was the condition in 1989 when the Natives of Kashmir turned refugee in their own country.

Also, the film refreshingly — and realistically — posits no solutions. Most of the ensemble cast creates convincing characters, with Sanjay Dutt delivering a rock-solid and restrained act after a long time. Anupam Kher’s enigmatic and shrewd spiritual leader is chilling and matches up to Yuri’s malevolent Lashkar-Jaish leader look-alike. Both Bipasha and Kunal are completely non-starry and quite convincing as the voice of the young Kashmiri, longing for a semblance of normalcy.

The cross-country Char Dham defined by Adi Shankaracharya consists of three Vaishnavite and one Shaivite sites. Over the years, the term “Char Dham” has lent itself to the all-denomination Char Dham pilgrimages in the Garhwal Himalayas, where Adi Shankaracharya attained freedom from embodiment. Earlier known as Chota Char Dham or ‘Little’ Char Dham to differentiate them from the bigger circuit of Char Dham sites, after the mid-20th century they themselves started being called the CharDham Today, the term “Char Dham” usually refers to the all-denomination Himalayan CharDham.

The Char Dham are often considered the most revered sites for Hindus that have to be visited in one’s lifetime.

History of Char Dham:

The great 8th century reformer and philosopher Shankaracharya (Adi Sankara) was prominently involved in reviving the Hindu Dharma in India (Bharat). He traveled throughout the country and grouped the four sacred places Badrinath, Rameshwaram, Puri and Dwarka as the Char Dham which are dedicated to the Vishnu Avatars (incarnations). Geographically speaking the char dham make a perfect square with Badrinath and Rameswaram falling on same longitude and Dwarka(old) and Puri on same latitude, representing the farthest north east west and south points of India( at that time, before coastlines changed).

Char Dham Pilgrimage Centers:
Char Dham is referred to the four Hindu religious sites in Uttarakhand state of India. These are Yamunotri, Gangotri, Badrinath and Kedarnath in Himalayas, these four sites are the epicenter of religious activity in north India. Traditionally, the Chardham yatra is undertaken from the west to the east. Thus, the yatra starts from Yamunotri, then proceeding to Gangotri and finally to Kedarnath and Badrinath.

Owing to the significance of this religious circuit, devotees from all over the world, come here to experience the eternal bliss. Char Dhams are hustling and bustling with activity during the summer months, as hundreds of devotees embark upon the holy journey.
