Tejaswini Sawant won Gold at World Championships and has created history as she is the first Indian woman shooter to win a gold medal at the World Championships. Tejaswini Sawant has won Gold in 50m Rifle Prone event with a world-record equalling score at Munich, Germany where the World Championships are being held.

Tejaswini Sawant (29) made a score of 597 (100,100,100,99,99,99) and has equalled the record set by Marina Bobkova of Russia in 1998.

Prior to this Tejaswini Sawant won the gold medals at Commonwealth Games Air Rifle event. In the event she defeated Ewa Joanna Nowakowska of Poland with the better perfect score. Olga Dovgun of Kazakhstan won bronz.

DID Little Master winner is Jeetumoni. Everyone is asking since morning as to who is the winner of DID little masters or Dance India Dance Little Master on Zee TV? Well the winner is Jeetumoni aka Jitu Moni. The grand finale was held on 7th August, 2010. Jeetu Moni won from among the four finalists – the other three were – Atul, Manoj and Vaishnavi.

The judges Sandip Soparrkar, Farah Khan, Geeta, Remo, Terrence and Mithun Da were present in the grand finale of DID L'il Masters.
