Swami Nithyananda Arrested today on April 21, 2010 in Solan district, Himachal pradesh. Sex Scandal Swami Nithyananda had been missing for a couple of month after a sex scandal involved in a Tamil actress Ranjitha and other. A court in Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu issued a non-bailable arrest warrant when he failed to appear in a case connected with the sleaze tapes. He has been charged under several sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Nityananda had reportedly been staying in Solan (Himachal pradesh) for over a month.

Nithyananda will now be taken to court in Solan or Simla for transit remand. Swami Nithyananda resigned as the head of Dhyanapeetam.The Chennai police registered cases under sections 295(a) (deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs), 376 (rape), 377 (unnatural sex), 506 (1) (criminal intimidation), and 120 (b) (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against the Nithyananda.Nithyananda was arrested in Arki by Four teams of Bangalore Police, who had sought the help of the HimachalPradesh Police.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) rally against price rise in New Delhi today on April 21, 2010, due to this traffic crawled across central Delhi. BJP is holding a this rally to highlight the issue of price rise and demanding that petroleum prices should be rolled back and a Joint Parliamentary Committee should be formed for investigating the reasons which led to increase in prices of rice, wheat, sugar and pulses.

BJP leaders claim that an estimated 300,000 people will gather at the Ramlila Maidan for the rally. According to the plan, after the rally, some 10,000 BJP activists will march to Jantar Mantar through Jawaharlal Nehru Marg, Tolstoy Marg and Sansad Marg around 2 p.m. when traffic movement along the route in central Delhi is expected to get worse.

The worst hit are Ring Road, Mathura Road, India Gate, Tilak Marg, Asaf Ali Road, Netaji Subhash Marg, Ranjit Singh Marg, Tolstoy Marg, Sikandra Road, Barakhamba Road, Parliament Street and Ashoka Road. The party had on Tuesday appealed to Delhiites to bear with the traffic jams from 10am to 6pm.

Senior leaders like L.K. Advani, Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley, and Rajnath Singh as well as Gadkari are slated to address the rally, the culmination of protests held by the party in various states against the increase in prices of essential commodities and the economic policies of the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government.

This will be the biggest mass rally of the party under the leadership of Gadkari, who assumed office in December last year.
