Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) is planning to launch a car which will be smaller than the company's Santro model. According to reports out in the media suggest that Hyundai Motor India wants to roll out this new model of passenger car by 2011. Hyundai's upcoming model i20 was supposed to have launched in India on November 6, but the date was postponed later on. Senior Vice-President of Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), Arvind Saxena, has recently claimed that Hyundai India is yet to be affected by the global credit crunch.

Hyundai Motor India is India's second largest car maker after Maruti Suzuki. The company saw extensive success thanks to its hatch back compact car Hyundai i10 that is being manufactured in India and exported to many countries around the world. India is a price-sensitive market. So, Hyundai India's plan of rolling out a car smaller than Santro seems to work well for the company. Now, let us see if Hyundai Motor India can be successful with this new model too.

Aamir Khan is going to become a dad again if the latest buzz.is to be believed  The news is doing the rounds that Aamir's wife Kiran Rao is Three months pregnant.

Reportedly Kiran was recently admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in South Mumbai for fever. During the medical test, it was discovered that Kiran was pregnant. Sources revealed the Aamir used to visit Kiran every night, probably to avoid media glare.

Shonali (Kangana Ranaut): Shonali Gujral is the most successful model in the industry. She is the envy of every aspiring model but her success does not last long. She makes some terrible choices which eventually destroys her life and modeling career.

Janet (Mugdha Godse): Janet is an exceptional woman. Though she is not as successful as Shonali Gujral, she is a tough, ambitious and hardworking girl. She lives a carefree life. Unlike other models, Janet understands the importance of family, love, sacrifice and compromise.

Rahul Arora (Sameer Soni): Rahul Arora is a talented designer. He is the top designer of the Panache fashion house. Rahul makes no compromise with his fashion designs and his lifestyle. However, his mother is very unhappy with him since he is not interested to get married. His mother wants him to settle down with a family.

Abhijit Sarin (Arbaaz Khan): Abhijit Sarin is a business tycoon. He is the owner of the famous retail giant, Panache. A shrewd businessman, Abhijit Sarin knows how to get things done his way.

Anisha Roy (Kitu Gidwani): A former beauty queen, Anisha Roy, is a tough business woman. She owns the most prestigious modeling agency in town and Panache is one of her many clients. Anisha Roy has a keen eye for spotting talents and turning them into successful models.

Maanav (Arjan Bajwa): Maanav is an aspiring model who comes to Mumbai to make it big. Like Janet, Maanav also has a strong set of values with whom he would never make any compromise.

Synopsis: 'Fashion' Hindi movie reveals the dark side of the glamorous fashion world. The movie shows the lives of different people related to this glamorous industry. It tells the story of Meghna Mathur, Shonali, Janet, Rahul Arora, Abhijit Sarin, Anisha Roy, and Maanav. Meghna Mathur is a small town girl with big dreams. Though she comes from a conservative family, she wants to make it big in the modeling industry. With that dream in minds, she steps into the modeling world and quickly rises to success but her success comes at a price which is too much for her to pay.

Trivia:

• Interestingly, Indian Censor board gave 'Fashion' Hindi movie an "adults-only" certificate. This did not go well with Madhur Bhandarkar. The censor board objected that the love making scene between Priyanka Chopra and Arjan Bajwa and the drug taking scene of Priyanka Chopra were not suitable for viewers below eighteen years of age. Madhur Bhandarkar argued that in his earlier movies, there were such scenes but at that time, the censor board did not certified them as adult movies.

• While shooting a fashion show for the movie at the Mehboob studio, a model named Rebecca fainted on the ramp. Immediately, Priyanka Chopra came to her aid. After Rebecca gained consciousness, Priyanka Chopra told her to relax in her vanity van. Later, Priyanka Chopra treated her with nimboo-pani.

• To make 'Fashion' Hindi movie, an authentic one, Madhur Bhandarkar invited many famous fashion personalities of India to make guest appearance in the movie. The fashion shows shown in the movie were choreographed by Lubna Adams and Achala Sachdev. Rita Dhoby worked on Priyanka Chopra's look. Even famous director Karan Johar made a guest appearance. Madhur Bhandarkar said:

“I’m trying to rope in as many names from the fashion industry as possible to give Fashion an authentic look. Besides the names you’ve mentioned, Falguni & Shane Peacock, Wendell Rodricks, Narendra Kumar Ahmed and Anamika have designed the fashion shows in Fashion. Among the top models who have contributed are Noynika Chatterjee, Anchal Kumar, Binal Trivedi, Kavita Jairayat, Sucheta Sharma and Jesse Randhawa.”

• Since 'Fashion' Hindi movie is related to the fashion industry, it has various fashion show sequences. While shooting these scenes, producers of the movie banned cell-phones on the premise because the models objected that while they change their dress in the green room people might take their pictures.

• 'Fashion' Hindi movie contains a wardrobe malfunction sequence which is done by actress, Kangna Ranaut. The sequence is based on the famous wardrobe mal-function incident of Carol Gracias at the Lakme Fashion Week 2006. Kangna Ranaut did not use any body double. Aside from director Madhoor Bhandarkar, only few essential people were present at the Mehboob studios when the sequence was shot.

• 'Fashion' Hindi movie cost around Rs. 170 million to 180 million. Before the release of the movie, the producers collected around 70 million to 80 million through brand endorsement. Producers of 'Fashion' Hindi movie signed a deal with major brands including Lenovo, Sunsilk, Reebok and Kimaya. An official said:

“We have managed to cut some great deals with the leading brands from the world of fashion (obviously), laptops, hair care and footwear & apparels. They have been prominently placed in Fashion and we have made sure that they don’t obscure the basic flow of the film.”

• During the shooting of 'Fashion' Hindi movie, the models were served oily foods which they were not used to. They take nutritious foods like sandwiches, salads, soup. They also follow a certain routine. On the set, they did not have any fixed times for lunch or breakfast. Only one day, they were served food on right time.

• Priyanka Chopra forced director Madhur Bhandarkar to change the ending of the movie. Earlier, at the end of 'Fashion' Hindi movie, Priyanka Chopra was shown to become pregnant. She had relationship with many men and later decided to keep the baby. However, Priyanka Chopra thought that the ending would be too bold for Indian audience. In the new ending, the pregnancy part was removed.
