Delhi metro : New South Delhi Metro’s Central Secretariat-Qutub Minar line opens on Sep 3, 2010

Delhi metro two other other routes, namely Jehangirpuri to Central Secretariat and Qutub Minar to Huda City Centre, were already opened earlier and the New South Delhi Metro's Central Secretariat- Qutub Minar line opened today on Sep 3, 2010. Delhi Metro Central Secretariat-Qutub Minar link, that connects the city's north with its satellite town of Gurgaon in Haryana metro route, was opened to the public Friday by Union urban development minister Jaipal Reddy and Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit at 1 pm, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said.

South Delhi metro map or gurgaon metro route, the metro will cut through South Delhi areas such as Jor Bagh, AIIMS, Green Park, Hauz Khas, Saket and Vasant Kunj.

Apart from the travel benefits for the commuters, South Delhi areas along Chandni Chowk, Chauri Bazaar and Gaffar Market in Karol Bagh are expected to receive a big commercial boost. The Central Secretariat-Qutab Minar corridor is 12.53 kilometres long and has nine underground stations.

This line was actually scheduled to be operational by mid-August. However, the launch was delayed by the failure to obtain clearance certificates on fire safety and lift and escalators. The clearance came on Tuesday, Aug 31. Thus, the New South Delhi Metro's Central Secretariat- Qutub Minar line opened today on Sep 3, 2010.

The entire corridor has 34 stations — 20 of them underground and 14 elevated. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) plans to run 36 to 40 trains during peak/off peak hours to meet the passenger requirement on the line, a DMRC official said.

Gaayam 2 movie story:
Rams (Jagapathi Babu) runs a restaurant in Bangkok and stays with his wife Divya (Vimala Ramana) and son. One day a composed Rams kill two dacoits to save a woman in his restaurant. Guru Narayan (Kota Srinivas Rao) sees this news in TV and immediately sends his lawyer Thannikela Bharani and son Shankar Narayan (late Kota Prasad) to Bangkok to find out whether this Rams is the same Durga or not? The plot unveils when the duo discover that Rams and Durga are same. And the aftermath – it's all about how Rams reincarnate into the once powerful Durga and lock horn with Guru Narayan.

Gaayam 2 2010 is a latest released new Telugu film directed by Praveen Sri, who was previously an associate of Ram Gopal Varma and produced by Dr.Dharma Kartha. Gayam 2 is the sequel to the 1993 blockbuster "Gayam" which also starred jagapathi babu. This new flick's Gaayam2 music composed by Ilayaraja. Vimala Raman plays the female lead in this Gayam2. Jagapathi babu will play the character named Durga as in the first part which cannot be forgotten so easily. In the year 2010, the same Durga who intimidated us on the screen in the Ram Gopal Verma's edge-of-the-seat film on gang wars and brutal killings, is coming back. It will be a unique kind of sequel because in the past no other film has seen a sequel made after 15 years.

Jagapathi babu Gaayam 2 movie review

The sequel of 'Gayam' is sluggish, Villian cum comedian Kota Srinivasa Rao as a politician with criminal background given extraordinary performance to the film. The script and the screenplay was good. Jagapathi Babu's role was very effective. Vimala Raman looks seductive to the core. The real show stealer is Kota, who was excellent. Overall the narration makes it watchable.
