Cricket legend, Sachin Tendulkar, is all set to mark debut in Bollywood. It is learnt that he will be doing Vidhu Vinod Chopra's 'Ferrari Ki Sawari'.

Tendulkar's role in the movie is kept secreat. It is learned that he is playing a very important part in the said film.

The other star of 'Ferrari Ki sawari' are Sharman Joshi and Boman Irani. Sachin has liked the script of the film.

Though Tendulkar has done many advertisements on small screen, he will be doing a film for the first time.

Sachin was earlier offered a role in Karan Johar's Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gum, but things didn't materialised.

Other cricketers who tried themselves in Bollywood are Sunil Gavaskar, Syed Kirmani, Salil Ankola, Ajay Jadeja, Vinod Kambli and Sandeep Patil tried, but failed to make any impact.

Let hope like in cricket, Sachin hits records here as well.

 The petitioners, Sunni Central Waqf Board and Mohammad Hashim Ansari,in the Babri masjid-Ayodhya verdict suits, will request the Supreme Court on September, 28 for verdict by October 1, even as other litigant Nirmohi Akhara will request for a three months’ time to resolve the issue through negotiations.

Counsel of the Waqf Board, Zafaryab Jilani said, "An affidavit has already been sent in which a prayer has been made for pronouncement of the verdict by October 1 since one of the three judges of the Ayodhya bench in Lucknow–Justice DV Sharma– is due to demit office on that date."

The counsel of waqf board further said, “The issue cannot be resolved through negotiations as negotiations have not been able to bring about any result so far. It would be in the interest of justice that the High Court may kindly be permitted to announce the judgement by October 1 as one of the judges is retiring on that day."

Nirmohi Akhara will pray before the honourable Supreme Court that 3 months time be given for resolving the issue through reconciliation.

There is a news doing the rounds that Ranbir and Katrina are in love with each other and will  make their love in public.

Ranbeer and Katrina are together for more than a year now, they acted together in 'Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani' and 'Rajneeti'.

The young Ranbir, will ask his cousin Kareena's help to confess his love for Katrina Kaif.

While Salman Khan believes that Katrina is still single.

 "They are very much in love. Katrina has even met all his uncles and aunts, who all approve of her. Even his parents, mom Neetu and dad Rishi are very fond of her. She often drops by at their Bandra home to meet them even when Ranbir isn`t in town. The Kapoor khandaan is not in favour of their beta hiding his feelings for the girl he loves but they understand how this could cause problems for Kat," says a source who is close to Ranbir Kapoor.

Rishi Kapoor has worked with Katrina in Namaste London, and the Khandaan feels that they should do more films together to understand each other better.

The IPL-3 winner Chennai Super kings (CSK) added one more tittle to their name. In the onging Champions League final, CSK thrashed Warriors by 8 wickets.

After winning the toss the Warriors elected to bat but failed to set up challenging total for CSK. The Warriors managed only 128 in their 20 overs.

The target 129 never seemed difficult given the strong batting line up that CSK has. The Opening pair Hussey and Murali Vijay set the momentum by scoring a partnership f 103 runs.

CSK won 11 awards and earned USD 2.5 million, which was almost double to the IPL-3 money.

CSK opener Murali Vijay was highest run scorer in the tournament. He scored 294 runs in six matches with an average of 49 runs. He was awarded the Golden Bat.

Spinner R Ashwin bagged golden ball award for most successful bowler in the tournament.
