The Judgement on Babri masjid-Ramjanmabhoomi case is out and the Sunni Waqf Board is to appeal the apex court against the Allahabad high court ddecision.

The ruling says that the idol of Lord Ram will remain in the place where it was and the disputed land will be dividing into three parts; and will be distributed among the Hindu Mahasabha, Sunni Waqf board and the Nirmohi Akhara.

The Waqf Board lawyet, Zafaryab Jilani, said, "”We are partly disappointed with the judgement. We will be approaching the Supreme Court.”

He further said that the verdict should not by any means be interpreted as one community's victory and others defeat. It is not a step backward; on the contrary it is a step forward.

He said that the judges accepted that the Babri mosque exists but was constructed against the teaching and ruling of Islam.

Meanwhile, Mohan Bhagwat, chief of RSS welcomed the judgement. He said that the order of the court  has paved the way for the construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya, but he quickly added that  this is not the issue of defeat and victory.
