Aamir Khan's production 'Peepli Live', which is a satire on the farmers suicide in India ahs been selected as India's official entry for Oscar 2011.

The movie was competing with other well documented films like 'Abhomaan' and 'The Japanese wife'.

The penalist voted for Peepli live for the Oscar 2011 nomination in the Best Foreign Language film.

The film 'Peepli Live' was liked by audience and the critics. It revolves around two farmer brothers who are under extreme poverty and to gain monetary compensation, one of them contemplates suicide.

This is the third movie from Aamir Khan's production which has made to the prestigious award for the golden trophy. Also Lagaan and Taare Zameem Par were India's official film to Oscar but missed the trophy.

Let us see this time if Peepli Live can get the trophy by beating other 26 films at 83rd Acaddemic Award.
