The Iconic and living legend of Indian music industry, Lata Mangeshkar turned 81 today.

She has ruled the Music industry for 66 years and still continues to do so, with her melodious voice.

The queen of melody, Lata Mangeshkar has recorded more than 25,000 songs in 20 Indian languages between 1948 to 1974. She has sung classical, film songs,  ghazals,  pop and Bhajans.

The undisputed singing queen, Lata mangeshkar, is a Guinness Book of World Records title holder from 1974 to 1991 with the most recordings in the world.

Madhur Bhandarkar, Asha Bhosle, and others are wishing the voice of millennium on her birthday.

Lata Mangeshkar thanked all her well wishers and said that it is only because of your support and love that I feel the need to keep going.

Lata Mangeshkar has also received many awards to name few of them; she has Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan, Dada Saheb Phalke, Maharashtra Bhushan Award and others.

We wish her many many happy returns of the day. May she be in good health so that we can enjoy the melodious voice of Lata didi.

Salman Has Shifted His Interest From Zarine Khan To Sonakshi Sinha

Remember Zarine Khan?  Yes Salman Khan's co-star in Veer. She is out for sometime and is not in news. She was Salman Khan's find. She resembles to Salman exgirlfriend  Katrina Kaif a lot.

But with 'Dabangg' its Salman and Sonakshi written all over. Salman is more interested in shaping the career of Sonakshi and has almost forgotten his find, Zarine Khan.

Zarine was last seen with Salman in Aamir khan's party hosted in honour of the music composer of Dhobi Ghat.

Though she was present at the premier of Dabangg, but was it was Salman and Sonakshi in the lime light.

It is learned that she is part of Patner 2 and plays sister of Bhaskar.

Now only time will tell as to when the film will see the day light and what potential the character of Zarine Khan has.

SC Against Deferment, Judgement on Ayodhya To Be Declared on September, 30

 The Indian apex court on Tuesday asked the Lucknow bench of Allahabad high court to pronounce the judgement on Ayodhya case on September, 30.

The three bench judge headed by the Chief justice of India gave the decision after resuming from the lunch break at 2.pm.

Taking the Supreme Court's order into consideration the high court has decided to deliver the judgement at 3.30 pm on September, 30.

One of the three judges of Allahabad high court, DV Sharma, retires on Friday, October 1.

The apex Indian court also rejected the petitions relating to the deformation of Ayodhya tittle suit.

Ramesh Chandra Tripathi, a former bureaucrat, had filed the petition for deferring ayodhya land case till the Commonwealth Games are done with.

Zafaryab Jilani, Convenor of the Babri Masjid Action Committee, said, “All major litigants wanted this. They welcome the decision of the honourable SC.

Central Recruitment & Promotion Department, State Bank of India, Corporate Centre, Mumbai invites Online applications from Indian citizens for appointment of 6100 Clerical Cadre posts in State Bank of India Associate Banks upto  01/11/2010  :

Clerical Cadre : 6100 posts in various states in India (see detailed advt. for Bank-wise, State-wise and Category-wise vacancies) , Pay Scale : Rs.7200-19300/-, Qualification : Minimum 12th Standard (10+2) or equivalent qualification thereof with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD/XS) OR A degree from a recognised university (graduation level) with a minimum of 40% marks (35% for SC/ST/PWD/XS).
