“‘Because the legal procedure on her case is not finished, her release is canceled,’ the ILNA news agency quoted prosecutor Abbas Jafari Dolatabadi as saying.

After people’s hopes were up that Sarah Shroud would be released on Saturday, Iran has backed off from their announcement to release her.

AFP reported, “Commenting on reports about Shourd’s expected release on Saturday, he [Dolatabadi] said: ‘The judiciary does not validate the published news and naturally any decision about the defendants will depend on carrying out the judicial process.’”

According to CNN, “Shourd, along with Shane Bauer and Josh Fattal, were detained July 31, 2009, after they allegedly strayed across an unmarked border into Iran while hiking in Iraq’s Kurdistan region.

“Tehran has said the three hikers were spies, and Iran’s intelligence minister has hinted the country may consider releasing them in exchange for the release of Iranian prisoners, according to state news outlets.”

A report from Reuters said, “Iran has canceled the planned release on Saturday of a detained American woman because the legal process has not been completed, Tehran’s prosecutor said on Friday.

A new virus, “here you have” is causing all sorts of trouble to computer users, even at the corporate level.

MSNBC said, “So far, the virus has already been sighted at ABC/Disney, Google, Coca Cola and NASA, several individuals with knowledge of the situation told TheWrap. Comcast was forced to shut down its e-mail servers entirely after being hit, a spokesperson said on Twitter.”

The Washington Post reported, “Lured in by the promise of free adult movies, guileless e-mailers are falling prey to the ‘Here You Have’ virus.

“The malware worm disguises itself as a link to a Web site that offers free movies. The words ‘Here You Have’ or ‘Just For You’ appear in the subject line of the email. Users click on the link and it asks them to download a .pdf file. That file takes over the computer and seems to mine the computer for security information.”
