Lakme is India's most Prestigious Fashion show. Lakme Fashion week festival 2010 kick started from September, 17 2010 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Delhi.

Big names form the fashion designing industry like Ritu Kumar, Anita Dongre, Satya Paul, Bollywood biggie Manish Malhotra, Narendra Kumar, Neeta Lulla and Malini Ramani are show casing their work.

Bollywood's bold and bombshell Mallika Sherawat graced  the Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) this Friday by attending fashion designer Anita Dongre’s show as a guest.

Manish Malhotra, the ace Bollywood designer, surprisingly didn’t have Bollywood showstoppers last season. The designer has designed for Priyanka Chopra in ‘ Anjaana Anjaani Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in ‘ Robot‘ and ‘ Action Replayy ‘, and Kareena Kapoor in ‘ Golmaal 3 ‘. Buzz is either of his A grade muses Priyanka or Kareena will sashay down the ramp this season for the designer who will be presenting his evening wear Indian collection this season.

Whether showstoppers or not, Bollywood will definitely make its presence felt on the front row for sure.

The release date of the much awaited film Edhiran-The Robot has been postponed from September, 24 to October, 1.

The film releases in 3 languages, Tamil, Hindi and Telugu.

Endhiran-The Robot is a forthcoming Tamil science fiction film co-written and directed by S. Shankar. The film features Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai in the lead roles with A. R. Rahman working on background score and soundtrack. The movie also stars Danny Produced by Kalanidhi Maran, it is known for being the most expensive Asian film ever made. Its approximate budget is Rs.150 crore.

It is also slated to make the largest worldwide opening for an Indian film, upon release.

After meticulous filming and production for over two years, the film is currently undergoing post-production work. It is expected to be released worldwide on 1st October 2010 along with its dubbed versions: Robot in Hindi and Robo in Telugu. The film release will follow the film’s soundtrack release, which was held on 31 July 2010.

‘Endhiran’ also called as 'Ethiran' will be released across 2000 screens in India, USA, UK, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia and many other countries.

Taiwan based Electronics Giant Acer and luxury car manufacturer Ferrari, has teamed up to manufacture a smartphone, which will be available in the Indian market soon.

The Acer Liquid E Ferrari smartphone uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chipset.

S Rajendra, chief marketing officer, Acer India, said,"The new range of Acer samrtphone has been rolled out to meet the increasing demand of consumers to access mobile internet with performance, stylishness, anywhere at any time."

He further added that Acer is pioneer in offering its customer the best in technology.

The Acer-Ferrari Smartphone boosts features like 5 MP camera and Wi-Fi, a slot for microSD cards and comes with 8GB standard memory and can support up to16GB.

Initially the smartphone will be available only in Chroma and later it will be made available from other outlets.

The Smartphone is prized for Rs, 29,999. The price will increase after the festive season of Diwali is over.
