The firing at the historic  Jama Masjid Entrance in Delhi leaved two foreign tourist injured and created panic and shock amongst the residence.

It is reported that the two gunmen on motorcycle randomly opened fire at the tourist getting down from the bus. They escaped from the narrow lane.

This attack will create security furore especially amongst the foreign visitors and delegated who are planning to visit India for the Common wealth Games, which is scheduled to happen in Delhi on October 3 to 14.

Rajan Bhagat, Delhi Police spokesman said that the attack took place at around 11.30 a.m. outside gate 3. He said the attackers' identity were not known.

The join CP said,”A red alert has been sounded and we are conducting checks at various points. We are confident of nabbing the culprits soon."

Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit described it 'a sad incident'.

The wounded tourists were rushed to the LNJP hospital in the city centre.

M C Mary Kom, Indian women Boxer, won World Championship title for the fifth time in a row, Mary Kom lifted the world championship tittle by beating Steluta Duta of Romania (16-6) in the final on Saturday in Barbados.

Mary Kom, the mother of two, who hails from Manipal, competed in the 48kg category and defeated Philippines Alice Kate Aparri by 8-1 in semifinal to assure herself atleast a silver in the sixth edition of the competition.

The final between Mary Kom and Steluta Duta was interesting. Steluta was dominating in the beginning but Mary covered herself and came strong in the later stage and over powered the Romanina seed.

Mary Kom is the only boxer to have won medal in the each edition of the world boxing championship. She has claimed medals in all the six edition of the game.

M C Mary kom is also a former Khel Ratna awardee.

The ex-miss universe,and Bollywood diva Lara Dutta and the Indian Tennis star, Mahesh Bupati got engaged last week in New York.

Mahesh Bhupati confirmed the news at tweeter. He tweeted 'Lara and I got engaged in New York last week.'

Initially both of them denied their romantic relationship with each other.

Lara formerly dated model and actor Kelly Dorjee but after few years, she broke up with Kelly and mingled with Kelly’s best friend actor Dino Morea. Heartbroken Kelly cursed Dino for backstabbing him.

Mahesh Bhupati's marriage to ex model Shveta Jaishankar was going through some rough times too. Thats when Lara and Mahesh met each other, as Lara was a client of Bhupathi’s celebrity management company. Shveta later accused them of cheating her as they were seen together even before her divorce with Bhupathi came through.
