Jonal Chong to be questioned by Consumer Association of Singapore

Jonal Chong, a managing director of a hair salon in Singapore, in recent days has in many advertisements of newspapers claimed to have styled the Hollywood super star Nicole Kidman. Investigations are being made by the Consumer Association of Singapore in order to get the facts about the claims.

There are suspicions that the advertisements may have been meddled with in order to grab publicity for himself and for his salon. 48 years old hairstylist has also claimed to have based in London for seven years and that he had been the Kidman's stylist for three years.

Executive director of CASE, Seah Seng Choon said, ‘We are concerned that consumers may be misled by the advertisements of him saying that he is a celebrity hair stylist when he is not.’ Mr Choon also added that Chong will be contacted and would be asked for an official reply on the matter.

Chong has also claimed that apart from Kidman he has also styled many other Hollywood celebrities.

"No One Killed Jessica" is a bollywood movie released all over India on 7th January 2011. Vidya Balan and Rani Mukherjee played lead in the movie.

Swami Nityananda was Blackmailed

January 6th, 2011, Bangalore, Swami Nityananda was blackmailed by some unknown before the last year sex scandal burst according to investigation.

Swami Nityananda admitted paying 1.4 million pounds to the blackmailer to stop him from revealing the sex video.

The Telegraph revealed this report and the sex video was showcased Swami Nityananada having sex with a popular Indian film actress.

Swami Nityananda told to investigation team that a journalist approached him last year and told him that he had the video and threatened to pay 3.5 million pounds.

Swami Nityananda eventually bargained the blackmailer to reduce the amount to 1.4 million pounds and paid the amount through one of his disciple.

Last year however the sex tape broadcasted in all the Indian and international news channels resulted into biggest outrage among Swamiji's followers.

Now, the case is still pending and this blackmailer and payment to the blackmailer hit the lights through The Telegraph yesterday.

Republic poly opens a student run restaurant

The Republic Polytechnic on Thursday opened a campus restaurant named Olivia costing $2 million, which is completely managed by the students. The restaurant has a dining area, bar, two private dining rooms to accommodate 100 people at a time.

Sources say that the restaurant serves western and fusion meals to the staff, public and the RP students. Customers at the restaurant are offered a three course meal costing at $9.50 each.

A similar restaurant is also run by the Temasek Polytechnic, named 'Top Table, which is also completely managed by students. The restaurant had started functioning in the year 2007.

The students at the polytechnic are offered new courses and opportunities with reference to the scope the students have in future. The students also get an opportunity to gain work experience through internships in parks and hotels of international themes. These days the students are demanding more of the hospitality and tourism courses, as such courses have a good scope in the growing service sector.

Google’s Android 3.0 Honeycomb Video Preview Unveiled

Los Vegas, January 4th 2011, Google has unveiled a video showing version 3.0 of Android, which is codenamed as "Honeycomb".

The latest Android operating system is mainly focused on revamping the mobile operating system for use on Tablet devices.

The Android 3.0 Honeycomb is learned to be the tablet-friendly and not emphasized well for smartphones, the unveiled video also mentioned the same as "Entirely for Tablet".

Google is planning to release this latest OS Android 3.0 Honeycomb in the next month or within two months duration.

It is heard that the Android team is currently emphasizing more over polishing the latest OS further and fixing some of the bugs those are resulted with the new OS.

Now, the million dollar question is that, whether this upcoming Android 3.0 based tablet can beat the current popularity of the iPad?
