It is celebration time for MediaCorp Radio, as it has completed 75 years of successful broadcast in Singapore. A four day event has been organized to celebrate the success.

Lucas Chow, the CEO of MediaCorp officially announced the event on Thursday. The event will also feature performances from local artists.

The event includes contests, in which local residents over the age of 15, can participate and win attractive prizes. One of the residents of Singapore, 48 year old Patrick Goh, has already won a 32 inch LCD TV set.

The contest will continue for the next four days. The other attractive prizes that can be won in the competition include DVD players, cameras and a flight ticket to Taipei. But this Sunday, the local residents are aiming for the prize of a one carat diamond. The winner of the diamond will be declared by a lucky draw. The event will feature the local artists, as well s the RJs from all the 13 MediaCorp stations.
