Zee Cine Awards 2011 winners Dabangg dominates again

The Marina Bay Sands, in Singapore on Friday glittered with several Bollywood stars at the Zee Cine Awards 2011. The show hosts Akshay Kumar and Sajid Khan with their unique style of entertainment, hosted the key section of the award ceremony.

The Badshah of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan, left behind Salman Khan, by taking away the best actor award for his film 'My Name is Khan'. The movie Dabagg once again grabbed nine awards on the ceremony.

Qatar, 15th Jan 2011-Team India's fighting efforts went in vain yesterday during the Asian Cup match between Bahrain and India.

The Indian team went down 5-2 against Bahrain on Friday evening. In fact, the hopes were gone down in the first half time with a score of 4-1.

Goramangi Moirangthem and Sunil Chetti succeeded in scoring each goal for the Indian team, but became quite in vain.

The Bahrain's team striker Ismaeel Abdul Latif has scored four goals and been a man of the match for the day. Bahrain's 5th goal was scored by Faozi Aaish.

India made two changes since after their game with Australia. Abhiskek Yadav and Renedy Singh were replaced by Mohammed Rafi and Deepak Mandal.

India cannot reach the last eight but they were not expected to do that and the players can be proud of themselves again after giving the West Asian side a real fight.

Sabarimala Stampede Over 100 People Dead

Idukki, Kerala, January 15, 2011- At least 100 people were killed and more than 150 people have been badly injured in a stampede at the Sabarimala temple.

The accident was occurred around 7 Kms away from the Sabarimala main shrine. So far authorities succeeded in recovering 70 bodies from the incident place.

Sabarimala's Special Commissioner, Rajendra Naya said in an interview that 100 people feared killed in the accident.

The cause of the stampede was happened after an accident that caused panic amongst devotees.

The accident was happened beyond the Sabarimala Police Protection zone in a hilly area. The terrain is causing real trouble for rescue and relief measures considered by the authorities.

Kerala's Education Minister M A Baby said in an interview "A jeep went out of control and went and hit the devotees who were there. People have been killed because of the crash and also because of the stampede. Most of the casualties happened because of the stampede according to preliminary reports".

Singapore’s tertiary education hike fees for courses

Singapore's tertiary education fees will soon be increased, with five technical polytechnics, three universities and the institutes of Technical Education, who have already levied the fees hikes announced on Friday. The candidates, who are aspiring for taking up the undergraduate courses at theNational University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University, will now have to pay four to six percent extra, depending on the courses.

The fees at the Singapore Management University will be increasing the fees at three percent. The annual fees of most of the undergraduate courses at the NUS will be increased by four percent.

According to sources, fees for all courses including the Business, Law, Music, Nursing, Architecture and Pharmacy will be increased by six percent. However the fees for the post graduate courses will be adjusted by six percent, while the nursing courses will be exempted from the fees hike.

The already existing post graduate student will also have to face the fees hike for the remaining of their course.

New zodiac dates 2011 caused due to moon’s gravity
