| Venson Evangelista, the missing car dealer identified by the police Posted: 18 Jan 2011 06:13 AM PST A burnt body that was found in Barangay Buliran, Cabanatuan City on 14th January, has been identified by the police. The police said that the body is of a car dealer Venson Evangelista, who was missing since the incident.
Benito Estipona, the chief superintendent of the Criminal Investigation confirmed that the dental records had matched the dental pathology report by the Philippine National Police Crime Lab. Before the incident another car dealer's body was found burnt in a similar situation. And when Evangelista's body was identified, the similarities of both the incidents had led to the conclusion that the crime was committed by a single group in both the cases. According to sources Evangelista and Lozano, who was also found burnt in a similar way, had absconded after they had went on a test drive with prospective clients. The officer Estipona had appointed different groups of investigators to study the two cases which helped them to find the similarities in the cases. |
