Many iPhone Users Overslept Due to Its Alarm Glitch

Many iPhone users overslept in the New Year as the alarm didn't go off due to a glitch. Apple confirmed an action against to the glitch and a fix is expected soon.

Actually, some of the users that were kept the iPhone alarm for a single wake-up failed to respond with the New Year's arrival.

Apple's official Natalie Harrison announced in this connection and responded on Sunday as, they're working on a fix and necessary action will be taken in a way every iPhone will work properly from Monday onwards.

In fact, it seems to be the resulted glitch is acting weird with the particular iOS which is latest 4.0.

Many online blogs mentioned that the alarm glitch affected many iPhone users and resulted into late for various appointments and works.

JMET 2011 Results Announced

JMET or Joint Management Entrance Test 2011 results published at their official website today. This according to the press release dated 3rd Jan, 2011.

The qualified students in this examination will be eligible to obtain admission into the post-graduate management programs in IIT and IISc Bangalore.

The examination was held on December 12th, 2010 and conducted by IIT Delhi in coordination with the six other IITs and IISc Bangalore.

Around 26, 035 students were appeared for the examination. This 3 hour duration test was conducted in seven zones, 69 centers and 35 cities all around India.

This year approximately 5,197 female students appeared for the examination and out of them 927 were qualified. Ratika Anand is the topper among female candidates with an all India Rank of 27.

The students that are successful with this examination need to apply separately to each of the school or departments of management in various IITs and IISc.

Partial Solar Eclipse and Meteor Shower are in Store

The beginning of the year 2011 got a solar eclipse in store for us all. This eclipse will occur on Tuesday.

This is a partial solar eclipse visible only in Europe, North Africa and Central Asia. The first penumbral shadow of the eclipse will touch the Earth in Northern Algeria at 2.40PM Tuesday.

The shadow will start travel towards East, Western Europe respectively as sunrise eclipse. The sunset eclipse will be seen from Central Russia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia and Northwest China.

This will be the first solar eclipse for the year 2011 and the next will happen on June 1st of this year.

In fact, there are two major events going to take place tomorrow, on Tuesday, Jan 4th, 2011, a meteor shower and a solar eclipse are in store for the Earth.

There will huge numbers of meteors in the wee hours before dawn tomorrow. It is predicted that this meteors shower could be seen from Western Asia and Easter Europe.

HBSE 12th Results Announced

HBSE or Haryana Board of Secondary Education, which is also known as BSEH or Board of School Education Haryana declared Senior Secondary examinations results 2011.

The examination was held in the month of October, 2009. This examination results are currently available at their official website.

Yesterday HBSE announced and intimated all their students to look for the results at the official website from 3rd January onwards.

Already results were kept at the official website and this website is currently experiencing huge traffic from the students.
