Singam Review (Tamil Movie):

The film is about Durai Singam (Surya), a honest cop in Nellore, who takes up the job mainly because of his father wanting him to do. His father runs a provision stores and even Durai Singam wants to do the same. But unfortunately, he takes it up and solves out civil cases on his own attempts without failing cases. Kavya (Anushka) is the daughter a great business (Nasser) and comes for vacation. After coming across his good nature, she falls for him and even he does.

Cut to Chennai, a very bad goon Mayil Vaaganam (Prakash Raj) is ruling the city threatening the victims by kidnapping their kids. Not so long, an unexpected case puts him across Singam and they get into big fight as the high voltage chase game begins right after the interval.

Kadhal Vandhale and En Idhayam are nice to hear and the background music is too good. Camera work by Priyan is nice and editing is speed.

Enjoy this film with your family members and it is good watching it for the money you pay.

IIST entrance exam 2010 were held more than 30 city centres across India for the admissions to the Undergraduate Programmes (B.Tech) at IIST for the year 2010 are made through the ISAT-2010.

CBSE Results will be offered with grades in each subject, plus the grade Point and the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).

• Marks between 91 and 100 per cent will be given A1 and a grade point of 10
• Marks between 81 and 90 will be given A grade and point of 9.
• Marks between 71 and 80 will be given A grade and point of 8.

How to Convert CGPA to Percentage ?

For students under the 4-point credit system, the procedure is CGPA*18+30=Equivalent percentage
Eg: If CGPA is 3.00, then the equivalent percentage = 3.00*18+30=74%
For students under the 10-point grading system, the procedure is CGPA*9.3=Equivalent percentage
Eg: If CGPA is 9.00, then the equivalent percentage = 9.00*9.3=83.7%

Gyaneshwari Express derails due to Maoist blast today on May 28, 2010. 13 coaches of Gyaneshwari Super Deluxe Express derail in West Midnapore district early Friday of a Mumbai-bound express train, five of which were hit by a speeding goods train. At least 65 killed, over 200 injured. The blast occurred at 1:30 am when the train was running between Khemasoli and Sardiya stations from there.

“We suspect Maoist hand behind the blast,” Vivek Sahai, Member (Traffic), Railway Board, said.

Anti-Maoist forces were at the spot and assisting the police and rescue personnel in extricating the bodies from four badly damaged sleeper coaches S-5, S-6, S-7 and S-8.

Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee reached the spot. She announced Rs 5 lakh for the next of kin of each of the dead and Rs 1 lakh for the injured.

Senior railway officials including Railway Board Chairman S S Khurana and DG RPF rushed to the spot.

A relief train left Kharagpur with a team of 12 doctors and 20 paramedics as also two doctors from the Kalaikunda airbase, the officials said.
