A Vietnam freighter is said to have sunk off the country’s coast, and the bad news is that the crew members of the ship have gone missing. The freighter named Phu Tan sunk off the coast of Quang Binh province, when the region was under the grip of a storm. There is a huge confusion among the authorities, as they are unable to mark out how many of the sailors were rescued and how many are dead.

The country’s storm and flood control has said that 26 crew members have been rescued and one person has died after a freighter sank off the country’s coast. A Chinese newspaper has said that the authorities were able to rescue only 2 people and are now searching for the rest.

Reports state that the two rescued sailors were pulled out of the seas almost 20 hours after the vessel had capsized into the sea. The exact location where the ship sank is said to be in the South China Sea, and that’s the reason why there are reports coming from China too.

As all the developing countries around the world are flexing their civil defence forces, Malaysia too is not lagging behind, the Kuala Lumpur City Police has aimed that it will be reaching any type of crime scene within eight minutes of the call. The City Police Chief has said that the motorcycle patrolling squad will reach the crime spot by eight minutes after receiving the report.

The Police Squad have started training their patrolling units to respond within eight minutes to the crime scene. Currently an average patrolling vehicle takes around 10 minutes to reach a particular spot, but from now on they will be responding quicker.

The Police Chief also said that during the training they will learn to overcome obstacles like traffic and people who will be present in the city at all time. He added that by such strict procedures allotted, the city will be having a fine police unit and also will be helping lower the crime rate in Kuala Lumpur.

It is really remarkable to see that the property auction rates in Singapore are up by 33% compared to the last year’s value worth S$223.9 million.
