Singapore Check Points To Witness Heavy Traffic This Christmas

Singapore will be witnessing heavy traffic flooding on their check points this festive season of Christmas. All travellers who will be taking the Woodlands and Tuas checkpoint will surely face delays because of the traffic congestion. The heaviest traffic will be seen on Christmas and New Years Eve this year.

According to The Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA), they have said that they will be experiencing heavy traffic from 24th to 27th December and 31st Dec. to 3rd Jan. The officials are advising the people not clog in during the peak hours and as much as possible make use of the public transport.

The Expressway Monitoring & Advisory System (EMAS) will be warning the travellers before hand if the traffic density on the highway starts increasing. So the people should plan out their trips and avoid traffic congestions. Singaporean Man Dies In Hong Kong Due To Hypothermia

The temperatures around the world have plunged considerably this winter, and in a sad news a Singaporean man died due to hypothermia in Hong Kong. Temperatures in the region fell below 15 deg C, and this is something that has alarmed the people in the country. The person who died was Mr Derek Tham, who was in Hong Kong to attend a War Game Simulation.

A local Chinese newspaper has stated that Tham had arrived the War Game Simulation Center along with his relatives and friends, and while he was walking he suddenly collapsed. The newspaper further adds that Tham was a war game enthusiast and as he was getting ready to commence the simulation, he suddenly fainted.

His fellow companions witnessed what they saw and took Tham to the local hospital, where he was declared dead at 2.34 local time. This season it is the first death case by hypothermia which has been reported in Hong Kong, as sadly this individual is not a resident of that country. The doctors say that Tham died to a heart attack that was triggered due the cold temperatures around him.
