Malaysia To Begin Working On $11.5 Billion Mass Rapid Transit Plan

Malaysia will officially begin working on a $11.5 billion Mass Rapid Transit plan for the Kuala Lumpur. The work will be commencing in the month of July next year, and this will be huge boost in the country’s massive public transportation system. Currently the Kuala Lumpur Transit system is poorly linked and badly managed, and situations worsen during peak hours as congestion becomes a big problem.

The whole plan will be costing around 36 billion ringgit or $11.5 billion and will be taking years to complete. The City officials have stated that the Kuala Lumpur is in dire need of a proper rapid transit system, so that it will be easing out the traffic congestion problem.

The new plan layout stretches from north-western region of the city to the south-eastern region of the city, and it will be passing through some highly dense areas of the Kuala Lumpur. Majority of the people in the city are travelling by roads as result there is regular congestion in the city. The officials feel the new transit system will be helping the city solve its congestion problem.

There are thousands of Catholic Philippine Families who are flocking towards the dawn masses that is being held just before the Christmas eve. It is an extravagant sight to see, as people are devotionally attending these masses as early as four o’clock in the morning. This event is called “Misa De Aguinaldo” and is held regularly every year, for nine consecutive days before the Christmas night.

It is a very important catholic tradition and ritual that is observed almost everywhere around Philippines. The nine masses held at nine early mornings depict the nine months that Jesus stayed inside his mother’s womb. During these masses the Jesuit priests also recite the novenas which is also an important part of the catholic mass.

Most of the ethnic population of Philippines is Catholics, and it also becomes an important event for the country. Christmas is celebrated in great awe and excitement in the country, so that each and every person in the Philippines knows the importance of the Christmas festival in the country.
