Dhaka, Jan 10th, 2011, Bangladesh's stock market regulator has suspended trading today due to the sudden price fall.

Bangladesh's two bourses including premier Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) experiencing a record price fall in history.

The Securities and Exchange Commission has taken this decision to safeguard the interest of the small investor and this is according to a SEC official.

The SEC took this drastic decision around 12 p.m. Bangladesh time as the main benchmark index of the premier bourse slumped by 617 points.

The benchmark Dhaka Stock Exchange General Index (DGEN) was fallen 660.43 points or 9.26 percent to 6,474.59 at the end of around one-hour trading from Sunday's finish.

The sharp and instant decision from the SEC to suspend trade witnessed mixed responses from the several hundred retail investors in Bangladesh.

The reasons for the steep fall are not yet clear and SEC verifying the things in detail in this connection.

Jan 10th, 2011, Mumbai, many reliable sources indicating that there will be a final signing today between the Patni promoters and iGate.

Earlier CNBC-TV18 quoted the same mentioning the source as reliable acquaintances. This is indicating the more chances for the deal today.

There is a chance that the deal will be finalized at one billion dollars which includes the open offer.

Patni promoters and General Atlantic (GA) will sell 62.8% stake in Patni. iGate will acquire 62.8% stake in Patni post deal closure.

It is heard that this deal is possibly to be signed at Rs. 503 per share. Actually this mentioned rate is quite tentative chances to take a change.

Some of the sources mentioned that today Patni board will meet to approve stake sale to iGate. Tax details will be finalized during board meeting.

Here, some other sources indicated that the iGate will make open offer for 20% stake in Patni post deal closure.

Bangalore, January 10th, 2011, India's first locally designed and manufactured Tejas, which is a light Combat Aircraft was handed over to the Indian Air Force.

Defense Minister A K Antony took the privilege of handing over of this light combat aircraft to IAF after successful operational clearance.

DRDO or Defense Research and Development Organization designed the Tejas with its Aeronatical Development Agency. The initial squadron of 20 Tejas aircrafts was inducted.

The Tejas was exposed to severe clearance procedures from fair number of critics within the country and with the Air Force.

It has been ten years since the first test flight and a fourth generation plus aircraft has finally arrived into the Indian Air Force kitty.

Initially, Teja's project was started with very little funding of 560 crore rupees and at last now it is successful.

Chatrapathi Shivaji international airport is one of the highly sensitive airports in India and CCTV cameras are arranged to minimize the threat through terrorist attacks.

This CCTV coverage for the airport is arranged in way every possible angle covered through 24 highly sensitive cameras.

Satyanarayan Chiudhary, zonal Deputy Commissioner of police said in this context as there is a requirement fir 70 cameras totally and so far 34 cameras have been arranged.

During March of this year, rest of the needed CCTV cameras will be installed for the Chatrapathi Shivaji airport.

All the security measures are made in co-ordination with these CCTV cameras and this co-ordination will alert threat situations instantly and tries to keep the things under control.
